My name is Mercilia. When I was first learning, I had difficulties with reading and writing. When I would go to the hospital and couldn’t read everything because I still struggled with some words, I had to ask for help. Now that I know how to read, I want to teach other people how to read too.
What I liked about the literacy program is that they provided us with books that I now have at my house, and I can read at home. Now that I know how to read, I can read to my grandkids when they need help with their homework.
