GIRL’S SOCCER CLUB

Building self-confidence, leadership, and critical life skills for girls through soccer

The girls practice and play games weekly, and are provided with a nourishing meal and health education.

Over 100 girls ages 10-28 participate across five teams that are divided by residence.

They give back to their community through service activities such as volunteering at the Haiti Projects’ library, community clean up days, and reading to the elderly. They also participate in tournaments with surrounding towns.

Our soccer club relies on gifts in-kind for gently used and new equipment, such as cleats, uniforms, and practice gear. If you are interested in donating equipment please email us.

The Haiti Projects’ girls soccer club was founded in 2013 by Molly Klarman and Taryn Silver Lorthe.
