Bridging the Digital Divide: Haiti Projects Launches Mobile Tech Lab in Rural Schools
We are proud to announce the launch of our Mobile Tech Lab initiative, aimed at transforming the lives of students in rural Haiti. This program currently provides 100 students with access to computer training and digital education, helping them connect to the global community.
The Mobile Tech Lab focuses on empowering students, both girls and boys, with essential digital skills, covering key areas such as basic computer vocabulary and terminology, typing skills, and navigating the Internet. Students will learn how to create email accounts and compose emails, as well as gain introductory knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
By bringing these opportunities directly to rural schools, the program seeks to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly digital world. This initiative is a significant step toward closing the digital divide and fostering educational growth in Haiti’s underserved communities.
With this training, Haiti Projects aims to open new doors for the students, allowing them to engage in a rapidly evolving global landscape. The future looks bright for these young learners!
