My name is Junel. I am 33 years old and I took Haiti Projects computer program at the community library. Let me start by saying how grateful I am for Haiti Projects, because this is something I would have to pay a lot of money to learn, but I was able to do it for free. Before I started the program, I lost a job opportunity, just because I didn’t have computer skills. But I can firmly guarantee that this will never happen again, thanks to the program. I learn so much in just six months such as Microsoft Word and Excel and more. It is very helpful to my family too as I can now help them with things they need to do on a computer that they would have to pay for. Most importantly, as a Pastor, I’m now able to help my church type up letter, sunday programs, flyers, etc. This has saved the church money as we, now, only have to spend on printing. I only wish the program had the possibility to create jobs so we can give back to our community and keep practicing the skills we gained. I pray that God bless Haiti Projects and give them the possibilities to realize the dreams the community has for Fonds des Blancs.
