Nick Carter is a thirty-year trial lawyer in Boston with an affection for Haiti. He spent a summer in 1982 in Port au Prince establishing a nutrition center for malnourished infants. More recently, his mother was lovingly cared for in a memory care unit by Haitian-American caretakers.
